Automation system for the Oil and Gas sector

The system allows the automatic control and management of a machine for the injection of plastic used in the Oil and Gas sector. 

The system manages the heating of the “melt” transport line as well as the injection process by hydraulic cylinders.

System configuration:

• Automation system with Siemens S7-300F PLC
• Heat management with SSR with phase angle control and absorption control of the heating elements
• Remote I / O management (ProfiBus and ProfiNet)
• Management of hydraulic movement and injection axis
• Injection loop management with position control and force control
• Data exchange with auxiliary machines with fieldbus (ProfiBus and ProfiNet).
