The customer, one of the largest oil service companies in the world, needed an industrial test bench to test chisels used to perform various types of drilling (eg geothermal wells, oil wells etc.). The bench had to reach a pressure of up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) and have an interface that would allow changing the type of chisel with speed and ease.
opus automazione has developed the Hydro Test industrial test bench to test various types of chisels with pressure up to 300 bar (4350 PSI) based on customer needs: specifically, the bench serves to verify that the chisel has been assembled correctly and that there are no leaks from the welds.
Particular attention was paid to the ergonomics of the bench, to allow a single operator to easily and quickly replace the type of chisel.
opus automazione has also developed a data acquisition system and interface software that allows one to control functions, store and recall test procedures, generate test reports and generate alarm logs to determine statistics and trends.
